What is the Muddler made of?
Our Boozvyille Muddlers are treated with a food-safe preconditioning coat and handmade from 100% Maple wood – the same used to create MLB bats, so you know you're taking cocktail cracks like the pros.
How do I care for / wash my Muddler?
Treat this bad boy like a wooden kitchen piece. Don't put it in the dishwasher. Hand-dry immediately after washing (don't air dry) to make sure it doesn't absorb water. Recondition with butcher's block beeswax when you're in a slump.
Where do donation proceeds go?
With every Muddler sold, we give 1% of the profits to Autism research centers and programs. The donation destination changes yearly, but this year we've chosen the Adult Enrichment Center! Many families (ours included) are affected by Autism and the research is always changing, so we like to adapt with it.
Does the Muddler work for ingredients that aren't cocktail related?
Totally! You can treat this Muddler like a pestle and "muddle" peppercorns for Cacio e Pepe, peppers to make salsa, garlic and basil for fresh pesto, etc. Just know that it might impart some flavors and make your cocktails even more interesting!
